The Andalusian Government Council was informed on Wednesday about the award of the project and works of the Current sewage treatment plant (EDAR) and the spill group in Fuente Palmera, in Córdoba, for 5,220,182.86 euros, an action of interest to the community. It will benefit around 8,300 inhabitants and responds to a decades-long demand. LOCATION.
The municipality of Fuente Palmera does not have a sewage treatment system and discharges it directly, through two discharge points, into the Chica stream, without subjecting it to treatment. This stream is a small tributary channel of Colebras Arroyo, which is then called Tamujar Creek, until its confluence with the Guadalquivir River.
The implementation of the WWTP aims to carry out a water treatment line based on extended aeration technology that will allow a daily flow of 3,600 cubic meters and a sludge treatment line and a centrifugal decanter.
The group will have a gravity collector that will be carried out in three sections with a total length of 856 meters and with a pumping station, among other features.
