The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development has opened the deadline on February 1 for the processing of the Single Application for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for aid and payments in 2025. The Official Gazette of the Andalusian Government (BOJA) publishes the resolution of the General Directorate of Direct Aid and Markets that regulates this call, from which Andalusian farmers can apply for direct payments financed through allocations from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF).
Through these funds, producers can access basic income support for sustainability, complementary income support for young farmers, schemes in support of climate, the environment and animal welfare, associated direct payments, or specific payments for cotton cultivation.
Once the call is open until April 30, interested parties can also access aid and payments such as those related to rural development interventions concerning environmental, climate and management commitments. Likewise, interventions in rural development related to areas with natural constraints or other specific limitations, agri-environmental operations granted under the Rural Development Program of Andalusia 2014-2022, or compensatory income premiums for forested agricultural areas, among others.
Amendment of royal decrees
Following the approval of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), various royal decrees regarding the common agricultural policy have been amended, as stated in the resolution that will be published in the BOJA, detailing the technical specifics of this call for 2025.
All these incentives can be applied for through the computerized tool Aid Management System (SGA), available through entities recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, addressed to the General Directorate of Direct Aid and Markets.
