The lower government of the Spanish government of Córdoba, Ana López Losilla, and the mayor of Posadas (Córdoba), Emilio Martínez, supervised the works to improve the infrastructure funded with funds from the program for the promotion of agricultural governance (PFEA), whose investment in work contributed through the promotion of governance (PFE).
In this sense, the subject highlighted almost 900,000 euros used to pay the salaries of the workers employed by the city council, «an amount that helps fix the population in the territory and signifies the economic improvement of the municipality and the quality of men and women» in the city of Malena.
«Thanks to these subsidies, the citizens of Posadas will have their jobs in the city and, therefore, will live here, do their shopping here, something that is an incentive for the growth of businesses and companies in the municipality,» said López Losilla.
In Posadas, ten interventions of 2023 are being carried out, whose workforce is subsidized by the PFEA funds of the Government of Spain. The works are aimed at adapting the access of different streets and improving some sports areas of the population, such as a velodrome or a sports center.
In the exercise of 2023, 4,380 salaries were subsidized for 261 people in the city, who carried out six projects worth 676,753.53, of which the Government of Spain financed 440,804.67 euros in the workforce, being more than 65% of the investments.
In the last year, of these, 4,260 salaries were assigned to 253 workers, who carried out four improvements to the infrastructure with a total value of 692,050.70 euros, of which 436,447.51 euros were allocated by the government of Spain, which represented 63% of the total expenses.
In summary, the Government of Spain has assumed more than 64% of the budget in the two years, with total expenses of 1,368,804.23 euros, of which the government subsidized 877,252.18 euros for the workforce. This investment gave rise to 8,640 jobs and worked by 514 people.

As of last year, 2023, more than 62 million euros were allocated to hiring the unemployed, of which 31,430,960 euros were assigned in 2023 and 30,681,851 euros in 2024 in the province of Córdoba.
Thanks to these funds, 582 projects are being developed, 294 in 2023 and 288 in 2024, which involved the employment of 36,629 workers in the province. Therefore, in 2023, 18,773 job contracts were organized due to these funds, and in 2024, 17,856 jobs were signed.
