The Municipal Institute of Performance Arts (IMAE) in Córdoba is wrapping up its season with the new show by Manu Sánchez, «We Deliver,» the song «In the Sun Days» by Fernando León de Arad and Ignacio del Moral, The Humorous Show «The Night is Comedy,» and various art galas.
As reported by IMAE in a note on Saturday, June 7th, two very different performances will take place. The song «On Monday in the Sun,» based on the award-winning movie directed by Fernando León de Arad and Ignacio del Moral, will be performed at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba, under the direction and adaptation of Javier Hernández-Simón.
This story realistically and touchingly portrays the daily struggles, frustration, and lack of hope that exist when trying to find work in a competitive job market and constantly changing. The cast of this work includes Mónica Asentio, Marial Álvarez, José Luis Tory, Fernando Cayo, Feri Herrero, Fernando Huesca, César Sánchez, and Lidia Navarro, as well as the voice ‘en Off’ of Pepa Peloche.

The successful tour of comedian Manu Sánchez arrives at the grand theater on June 12th with «We Living,» a sincere show that blends drama and comedy, while adding life’s ironies with his spectacular vision and wit. During his tour, he has sold out many venues and in Córdoba, he is close to selling out, with the last tickets on sale.
To close out the program’s schedule, The Big Theatre will host a charity concert in support of the Spanish Association Against Cancer featuring the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra (CYSO), one of the world’s most prestigious youth orchestras as part of their international tour.
This esteemed orchestra consists of 90 young musicians between the ages of 14 and 18, who will perform an engaging program conducted by musical director Allen Tinkham.
Following that, in the second half of June, IMAE will host over a dozen galas from dance and flamenco academies. Students from these centers will have the opportunity to showcase their final works on the stages of the Gran Teatro and Teatro Góngora, completing their artistic training.
