El incendio forestal declared on Sunday in the area of Arroyo Molino Alto, in Cardeña (Córdoba), was stabilized at 10:10 pm at night, according to the Fucoca plan in X (formerly Twitter).
The first phase is reached in the fight against the fire, achieved when, without being controlled, according to the terminology used by Infoca, the fire «evolves favorably because it does not have active fronts advancing the fire freely.»
Before announcing its stabilization, Infoca explained that the action against this fire was consolidated, announced a few minutes before 7:00 p.m., with the deployment of six to nine aerial means, as well as the increase of ground troops and units.
Specifically, the on-board service explained that the deployment consisted of two land cargo planes, two light amphibious aircraft, a coordination aircraft (ACO), two semi-state helicopters, and two light helicopters, five forest fire groups, four operational technicians, two environmental agents, four POD trucks, and an analysis unit.
