The Department of Educational Development and Vocational Training, through the Andalusian Public Education Agency, has invested €199.3 million in the construction of new public educational centers in Andalusia since 2019, promoting a total of 42 new infrastructures. During this period, specifically, 35 new centers and replacements of older ones have been completed, with an investment of €147.2 million. Additionally, the construction of five other centers has commenced, and two more have been tendered, amounting to €52.14 million.

By educational levels, 23 Infant and Primary Education centers (CEIP), 16 Secondary Education Institutes (IES), and a Public Integrated Vocational Training Center (CPIFP), as well as a Dance Conservatory and a Music Conservatory, have been promoted. The implementation of these infrastructures has led to the creation of 13,500 places and improved the schooling conditions for around 5,000 students.

In terms of provinces, in Almería, seven actions have been promoted with a budget of €42 million. This includes the completion of the CEIP Camino de la Torre in Viator, the Professional Dance Conservatory Kina Jiménez in Almería, the new IES in Huércal de Almería, and the replacement of the CPR Campo de Níjar Norte in Pueblo Blanco, Níjar. Additionally, new CEIP and IES are being constructed in Almerimar (El Ejido), along with another institute in the Las Salinas area of Roquetas de Mar.

In Cádiz, with an investment of €9.78 million, a new institute, IES Elena García Armada in Jerez de la Frontera, and an early childhood education center, E.I. Tierra y Libertad in Puerto Real, have been built. The replacement of the primary education building at CEIP Los Argonautas in Chipiona is currently in the tendering phase. Furthermore, in Córdoba, two new centers have been completed, both in the capital: CEIP Turruñuelos and IES Casiana Muñoz Tuñón, with a total allocation of €10.99 million.

In the province of Granada, six actions have been completed, including the new IES in Maracena and Albolote, and the new CEIP in Montevive, Alhendín, San Isidro Labrador in El Chaparral (Albolote), and Francisco Ayala in Ogíjares. The second phase of the CEIP El Torreón in Gabia Grande, Las Gabias, has also been finalized, amounting to €25.28 million. Additionally, in Huelva, with a total budget of €11.36 million, a new CEIP has been built in the Ensanche Sur area of the capital, the replacement of CEIP Manuel Siurot in La Palma del Condado has been completed, and a new early childhood building has been provided for CEIP San Walabonso in Niebla.

In Jaén, the partial replacement of CEIP Los Cerros in Úbeda has been carried out, with a new building for Vocational Training, and the construction of the new Superior Conservatory of Music Andrés de Vandelvira in the capital is in progress, with a total allocation of €12.7 million. In Málaga, seven actions have been promoted, with an investment of €35.92 million. New IES have been completed in Las Lagunas of Mijas, Marbella, San Pedro de Alcántara, Teatinos (Málaga), and Torre de Benagalbón (Rincón de la Victoria), along with a new CEIP in Cártama. The replacement works for CEIP Pablo Ruiz Picasso in Fuengirola, which have already been contracted, will begin shortly.

Lastly, in Sevilla, €51.23 million has been allocated to 12 center construction actions. Among them, the Integrated Aerospace Vocational Training Center Javier Imbroda in La Rinconada stands out as the largest educational infrastructure undertaken during this period in Andalusia and the second-largest in investment in the history of the Andalusian educational system.

Furthermore, new CEIP have been built in Alcalá del Río, Utrera, and Olivares, and the second phases of the Raimundo Lulio school in Camas, San Juan Bautista in Las Cabezas de San Juan, and Antonio Rodríguez Almodóvar in Alcalá de Guadaíra have been executed. The partial replacement of CEIP Andalucía in Cañada Rosal has been completed. Additionally, two new IES have been built, Hienipa in Alcalá de Guadaíra and Almensilla in Almensilla, and the replacement of IES El Molinillo in Guillena has been completed. The construction of the new CEIP Bernardo Barco in La Campana is underway, replacing the current center.

All these actions are part of the Educational Infrastructure Plan of the Department, executed by the Andalusian Public Education Agency, and have mostly been co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, both in the previous 2014-2020 framework and the current 2021-2027 framework.
