The President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has announced the creation of a digital entrepreneurship and training center in the building provided on Calle Alcalá in the municipality of Baeza, Jaén, which has received an investment of almost half a million euros through the Digital Agency of Andalucía. «We are talking about a total investment of over a million euros for the next four years.»

Moreno, who visited the Town Hall of Baeza and met with its mayor, Pedro Cabrera, affirmed that this opens up a new opportunity for this municipality in Córdoba to continue growing and unleashing its potential.

Additionally, he mentioned that this month forty-five unemployed young people under thirty have completed their training, thanks to the Employment and Training program of the Junta, where they specialized for a year and were hired, receiving the minimum wage. «This program was managed by the Town Hall with a grant from the Junta of over a million euros.»

He also referred to other improvements in Baeza, such as a grant of 75,000 euros to restore a section of the wall, repair the Atarazanas Museum, and commission a monument in honor of Pablo de Olavide on the 300th anniversary of his birth.

The Andalusian president noted that, as a Andalusian Tourist Municipality, Baeza has received a grant of just over 100,000 euros to turn its Market of Supplies into a Gastronomic Market.

He also highlighted that Baeza is synonymous with the most recognized EVOO, a cornerstone of Andalusian exports. This is why the regional government has approved ten modernization projects for six of its thirteen oil mills since 2019, while also creating the distinct brand ‘Gusto del Sur’ to distinguish the quality of its products.
