The President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has attended the Grand Procession in honor of the Jubilee of the Brotherhoods in Rome, which featured the presence of the Virgin of Hope from Málaga and the Christ of the Expiration from Seville, El Cachorro, consecrating Seville and Málaga as two of the great world capitals of sacred art.
Moreno stated that Rome these days is a boiling pot of passion, faith, and brotherhood sentiment with a strong Andalusian accent, highlighting the enormous expectations that this historic event has aroused in Andalucía and the Andalusians, demonstrating the influence that this community has on the popular passion experienced during Holy Week and also in Andalusian brotherhoods and fraternities, which, he said, are «a reference in Spain and in the world».

Andalusian brotherhoods do much more than processions on designated days, as their invaluable social work contributes to uniting citizens around principles and values that make us better, while also capitalizing on much of the production of sacred art, serving as a major tourist attraction and playing an important role in preserving Andalusian traditions.
Also in attendance were the Minister of Economy, Finance, and European Funds, Carolina España; the Minister of Tourism and External Andalusia, Arturo Bernal; the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre; and the Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz.
